Adult Campers must Pre-Register!

Campers who will be age 18-22 during the week of camp must pre-register before June 15th. This will ensure that we have time to complete a background check prior to camp for the safety of campers of all ages.

Adult Campers who have not pre-registered will not be allowed to attend GBYC 2025.

Welcome

GBYC is Greenbrier Baptist Youth Camp. It is a week long, summer camp at beautiful Camp Summers in Summers County, WV. Affectionately known as "Church Camp", GBYC exists to provide the best Christian experience possible. Our goal is that every camper will have the opportunity to develop a deeper, more meaningful experience in Jesus Christ. It is supported by local churches in the Summers County area and beyond (shoutout to SC and FL).

We desire to engage young people with the gospel of Christ through a concentrated week of worship, learning, fun, and competition. Campers will engage in team activities, have the opportunity to participate in sports with their team, enjoy the swimming pool in the afternoon, and socialize with other campers under the "ole tin roof" at the patio. They will also be taught God's Word in Bible Study, enjoy a morning object lesson, worship in the evenings with fantastic music and preaching, and sing, act, laugh, and reflect at the evening campfire.

Campers

Camp cost is $225.
Campers must be age 11 - 22.
Adult Campers (age 18-22 during week of camp) must pre-register.
Campers must fill out a registration form (online form or printed from pdf).
Campers must sign in at under the patio immediately upon arrival.

Payment may be made as part of the online pre-registration form, by check through the mail, or by cash or check at Camp Registration on July 6th.

Why GBYC?

For the Gospel of Christ

The good news about Jesus Christ is that He was God in the flesh, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, was raised so that we could have eternal life. This is so important because we are all sinners at odds with God and due punishment, but by responding in faith (simply believing in Jesus) we can be reborn, reunited with God, and adopted into His family. We want to make sure every young person hears about that good news.

For the Youth of our Communities

We love young people for the sake of the gospel. That is why we diligently work to reach out to teenagers and college aged young people through energetic and engaging music, fun and exciting games, team competition, and encouraging conversation and relationship.

For the Growth of Believers

GBYC is not just an evangelistic camp to encourage conversions, but also a discipleship oriented camp where Christians can learn, be built up, and grow in a concentrated week of Bible learning, memorization, devotions, and Gospel centered preaching.
